Louise is a Clinical Psychologist who specialises in trauma recovery, relational healing, and personality-related complexity. Her approach is paced, attuned and rooted in the belief that therapy is most transformative when it feels safe, human, and genuinely collaborative.

Louise sees distress not as pathology to be fixed, but as adaptation — the nervous system doing its best to protect us. She helps clients make sense of these patterns with compassion, while building the emotional and relational safety needed for deeper change. Her work integrates polyvagal-informed care, EMDR, Schema Therapy, MBT and DBT in a way that honours each person’s pace, story, and strengths.

Guided by values of social justice and human rights, Louise holds her space with dignity and transparency. She is sex-work positive, LGBTQIA+ inclusive, affirming of neurodiversity, and deeply committed to reducing stigma for people who have felt misunderstood by systems or diagnoses.

Background

Louise holds a Master of Clinical Psychology and has spent her career working within services that support people who have experienced marginalisation, trauma, or systemic disadvantage.

She currently holds a senior position within a Victorian Public Mental Health service, providing specialised risk assessment to support systems and clinicians to better respond to risk and complexity with respect and skill. She is also the Principal Psychologist at her practice in Brunswick, where care is delivered with heart, science, and a deep respect for lived experience. Beyond therapy, Louise is a nationally accredited trainer in BPD Core Competencies and provides board-approved supervision (AHPRA), with a focus on reflective, trauma-aware clinical development.
